Vangarde Woodworks produces three major types of work:
Casework
The term, casework, is derived from a French word that means box, or something designed to hold something else. In cabinetry, it refers to any basic box construction, including structures that hold doors or drawers. Vangarde excels at producing custom casework for the kitchen, bath, library, den, office, and entertainment room. We will undertake any type of casework, residential or commercial.
Millwork
Millwork refers to custom woodwork. Vangarde can produce custom moldings, crown moldings, base moldings, wall paneling (floor to ceiling), wainscoting (chair rail and below), doors, and custom entry doors. We can also make special architectural features such as mantelpieces, screens, coffered ceilings, and custom staircases.
Furniture & Special Projects
Vangarde Woodworks can undertake the design and production of any type of special furniture or one-of-a-kind product that a client may need. We have expertise in designing and building functional pieces for unusual spaces and in producing "mixed media" products (e.g., wood, glass, metal).
